Executive Board

The Executive Board, under the terms of the International MOMS Club, oversees all activities of the club. There are five positions on the board and the term of office lasts for one year, from July to June. Board members are elected by their fellow moms at the May monthly meeting. Their duties entail:

President - Presides at meetings and acts as a liaison between the local club, MOMS Club International and the community. Organizes the club's activities with the help of the board.

Administrative Vice President - Assists President in fulfilling her duties of office, which may include organizing outings and committees. Organizes service projects throughout the year and is active in decision-making and club activities.

Membership Vice President - Promotes membership in the club and maintains membership records and coordinates hospitality at meetings.

Secretary - Maintains and updates the club roster. Takes notes/minutes of board and member meetings and is active in decision-making and club activities.

Treasurer - Responsible for the club's
funds, deposits, and collecting dues. Maintains the clubs financial reports for review by the board and club members and is active in decision-making and club activities.

Other Volunteer Positions

Meet A Mom Columnist – Responsible for providing Newsletter artist a page of info on current MOMS Club members. Can be bio on one or more members, funny quotes from MOMS Cluber’s kids, etc.

Newsletter – Assembles monthly newsletter, e-mails to President for OK, then distributes to rest of club members via e-mail.

Sunshine Committee – Organizes meals for MOMS Club families after birth of a child, or family hardship. Also responsible for organizing assembly and delivery of “sick” packages to children in our club that have been hospitalized or are going through hardship.

Welcome Committee – Works under the MVP and Sunshine Committee to help new members feel welcome. Offers new members 3 months phone support to get acquainted in the group.

Playgroup Coordinator – Works under President to help plan our monthly playgroups.

Renewals – Works under MVP, responsibilities include; mailing out monthly renewal letter & liability form. Also responsible for following up for the renewals sent out.

Adopt A Spot Leader – Responsible for planning and assisting in two annual clean-up playgroups for our Adopt A Spot park and ride. This also involves contacting the local trash company for pick up.
